Labyrinth

"The pandemic allowed Kirsten time to revisit her passion for Greek myths of the labyrinth. Her maze-like structures, made of gold metal, illustrate the journey of life. In some of the pieces, the stones can be manipulated so as to help guide the wearer through the labyrinth, enabling them to revisit precious memories. Set with fine stones and crystals, carefully selected to symbolise obstacles overcome, they celebrate memories created along the way. Using CAD to achieve precision, she has transformed moments of self-reflection into gorgeous pieces of jewellery. “

The collection is broken down into 4 sub-collections each representing a different aspect of the Labyrinth.

Explore series

The Explore Series allows the wearer to move the stones to explore the maze. This collection celebrates the many possibilities that lie before us, and the freedom to explore and forge our own path. The wearer can place the stones wherever they desire on the pieces, and they serve as a bold reminder of the empowerment each of us possesses to create our own destiny.

The Explore Bracelet shows a statement maze bangle with moving stones so the wearer can complete the maze and choose where to place the stones.

The Explore Collar has multiple semi precious stones that the wearer can slide though the maze, as well as a statement green beryl in the front that also acts as a clasp.

Ariadne Series

The Ariadne Series, named after the princess that helped Thesues escape the maze by giving him thread to find his way out, features channel-set stones that illuminate the path through the labyrinth. The stones represent the journey taken as the wearer navigates the twists and turns of life; celebrating where you’ve been and where you’re headed.

The Ariadne Ring is a creative take on the classic eternity ring with stones that go around the whole finger, showing the wearer how to navigate through the maze.

The Ariadne Bracelet, has an array of blue and white stones that circle the wrist in the classic Greek key pattern and help guide the wearer through the complex maze.

The Ariadne Hoop Earrings, have a line of green tourmalines that run through the maze in a lovely geometrical pattern

Suspend Series

The Suspend Series features the maze itself with fixed stones along the path. These stones are suspended in time, reminding us to take a breath along our journey and reflect upon our milestones, memories, and achievements we’ve made so far.

The Suspend Hoops have an ombre effect of blue stones going from dark to light. Each stone static and suspended in time.

The Suspend Necklace, showcases a complex maze design with small green tourmalines set throughout.

The Suspend Ring shows a beautiful geometrical maze with green tourmalines set around the finger.

Stray Series

The Stray Series, the maze appears to dissolve off the wearer. This deconstruction of the maze symbolizes the wearer defying the confines around them; overcoming the labyrinth by marching through life boldly and rebelliously.
